Israeli forces have bombed a hotel in Beirut and a residential complex in Lebanon's east, killing at least four people. The military has issued more forced displacement orders for Beirut and towns across the country under heavy fire. The attacks were without warning and could have been an assassination attempt. The Israeli military claims it is targeting Hezbollah in the densely populated civilian area. Over 40 people have been killed in Lebanon in Israeli attacks since the conflict began. Human Rights Watch criticised the Israeli military's decision to target Iranian government officials who do not leave Lebanon as a war crime.
