Clayton Kershaw faces Pat McAfee ahead of WBC with Team USA

Clayton Kershaw, a three-time Cy Young Award winner, returned to the mound for Team USA's practice ahead of the World Baseball Classic, where he will compete against Pat McAfee. Kershaw retired after the 2025 season, but is currently available to pitch for the next three weeks. He shared his decision to retire with ESPN television host McAfee and shared insights on being in the locker room with Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Following their conversation, Kershaw and McAfee took turns facing off on the mound and at the plate for charity. The results of the face off have not yet been publicly released.
