A wildlife park in Kent has welcomed three male Asiatic lions, all of which were born from the same litter, to Wingham Wildlife Park. The animals will be part of a breeding programme managed by the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria. The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) estimates there are between 500 to 600 Asiatics remaining in the wild. The park plans to open both the lion and tiger habitats later this year.
