Fernando Mendoza, former Indiana quarterback, has stated his priorities are focused on his new role as a new NFL player and avoiding attending the Indiana Hoosiers' scheduled White House visit on May 11. However, he revealed that he was prepared to miss the visit as a rookie due to his position at the bottom of the totem pole as a player. Despite initially believing it would fall on the first day of OTAs on May 18, it appears he will be free to attend the visit after checking the Raiders' calendar. The quarterback has been with the Raiders this weekend for rookie minicamp and will have over two weeks before OTAs begin.
