The roommate of 19-year-old Jayden Nelson, who was fatally hit in a hit-and-run, has been charged with tampering with evidence. Joshua LaVoy is accused of discrediting evidence and making false statements about speaking with others involved in the incident. The incident occurred around 4 a.m. on March 8.
