MoreThan Films has begun international sales on "Summer Drift," the debut feature from Swiss co-directors Céline Carridroit and Aline Suter. The film, which follows Johanna, follows a woman employed on the production floor of a luxury watch factory who decides to restore her VW Beetle. It is set to premiere in the ACID sidebar at the Cannes Film Festival later this month. The co-production was produced by Cavale Films, the Geneva-based collective co-founded by Aurélien Marsais and Cécile Lestrade. The company is particularly interested in films that push narrative boundaries and is pleased with the film's success.
