Watch strangers shower terminally ill dog with love on her last day

A terminally ill dog, Gracie, was given a farewell by her owners and strangers in Los Angeles a day before she crossed the rainbow bridge. The pitbull mix was pulled in a wagon with a sign reading "Gracie’s Best Last Day Ever!" and petted by strangers. Gracie's owner, Kathleen Ives, shared that Gracie almost collapsed the previous day due to her aggressive hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. The farewell was held at Sunset Boulevard, where Gracie enjoyed walking around and receiving pets and attention. She died peacefully in her home on Dec. 5, 2025.
