Former Las Cruces Pre-K teacher charged with child abuse

A former Pre-K teacher, Jennifer Hernandez, has been charged with seven counts of intentional child abuse. The charges stem from several incidents at the Discovery Development Center in Las Cruces. The incidents were not caused great bodily harm. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.
