A 15-year-old boy from Illinois died after being hit in the head by a line drive during baseball practice. The Peoria County Coroner's Office identified him as Bentley Wolfe, a sophomore at Chrisman High School. Wolfe was in critical condition when he arrived at OSF Healthcare Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria on March 3 and died three days later. An autopsy revealed that Wolfe suffered "detrimental head trauma" due to blunt force trauma.
