3.4-magnitude earthquake rattles Loma Linda area, USGS says

A 3.4-magnitude earthquake hit the Loma Linda area around 8:48 p.m. on Wednesday, causing no immediate injuries. The quake occurred about two and a half miles southeast of the city, at a depth of just over 10 miles. The incident occurred at the same time as the New Year's Eve.
