The Amarillo High Lady Sandies defeated Lubbock-Cooper 14-4 in a District 3-5A softball game. Despite a slow start, the team managed to recover and score 10 runs in five innings. The victory was largely attributed to Mykaela Samuels, who contributed five of the team's nine RBIs and two home runs. Additionally, Amree Anglin was the standout performer in the game, allowing four runs and three walks.
