A minor 4.0 magnitude earthquake occurred near Capitol Reef National Park in Wayne County, Utah, about 10:30 p.m. The University of Utah Seismograph Stations has located 13 magnitude 2 or greater events within 15 miles of the epicenter since 1981. No damage to any infrastructure has been reported. This is the latest minor earthquake to hit Utah, with two recent minor quakes registering magnitude 3.0 or higher in February.
