Orlando Suarez, a 53-year-old man from Miami-Dade County, has been accused of causing pollution at his 5-acre property. The property was not connected to the sewer system and did not have a permitted septic system. The lab results indicated the presence of raw sewage and the contamination of drinking water. Suarez was arrested and booked on a third-degree felony charge of willful disregard for the environment.
