A woman arrested by the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation is an employee for the State Senate. Sarai Stansberry and Rhashiedi Porter are accused of defrauding an insurance company out of thousands of dollars. The investigation began after agents received a criminal referral from the Louisiana Department of Insurance regarding allegations of insurance fraud. The couple allegedly claimed during sworn testimony that they suffered injuries during a crash and required more than five months of medical treatment. They also filed a fraudulent insurance claim regarding the crash. Both were arrested and are being held in New Orleans.
