The Málaga Mafiz industry zone is showcasing a wide range of upcoming Spanish animated features, with at least 13 being presented at the Animation Trends Showcase. The event, part of the Mafiiz Industry events, also includes a pitching event for potential co-producers, investors, and partners. Some of these projects are still in production, but others are looking for sales, broadcasters, and distributors. From the Goya-nominated Hampa Studio, "Girl and Wolf" is directed by Roc Espinet, who adapted his own graphic novel of the same name to the screen. The film is currently still in development and is set to be presented in 2025 at Cartoon Movie.
