John Cavanagh, a 29-year-old author from Seaford, New York, has tackled big themes in his children's book, "Riddler Rabbit Makes a Friend," which he hopes will inspire children to be more supportive of others who are struggling with anxiety. His first book, Riddler Rabbit, follows a panic attack on the first day of school, which he believes is not uncommon among young kids. Cavanag hopes to teach kids how to handle issues such as anxiety that he didn't know about when he was their age. His second book will focus on the main theme of empathy and will be released in September. He also plans to introduce new characters in the anthology.
