A report by Bloomberg has suggested that Apple is planning to introduce a wider push into wearable technology, starting with glasses in 2027. The report suggests that the company is developing a version of the Meta-dominated audio-enabled smart glasses device, codenamed N50, and that it will be officially unveiled by the end of this year and then released in 2026. Other wearables are expected to include a pendant, AirPods with cameras, and an always-on wearable ecosystem for data. Despite past controversies with Siri and the Apple Vision Pro, Apple has historically been successful in introducing new products into a new category.
