NCAA to require availability reports from tournament teams

The NCAA will implement player availability reports for this year's men's and women's basketball tournaments for the first time. Financial penalties will be imposed on schools that do not comply with this policy. The reports will be provided with three designations: available, questionable or out. This move is part of a pilot program for potential use in other sports.
