Despite a recent loss to Minnesota, UCLA coach Mick Cronin has acknowledged the team’s lack of defense and ability to direct loose balls to teammates, which led to layups. Freny's performance was particularly inspiring, as he led his team with four offensive rebounds and three steals in only 18 minutes against Nebraska.
