Patterson, a Gilmore Girls alum who has since moved on to other shows, played Harry “Sully” Sullivan, owner of campground The Crossing. The new season of the show premiered on The CW on Monday, bringing fans back to The Crossing for more romance, drama and twists. The show's creator and showrunner, Roma Roth, initially suggested that Patterson could still return and reprise his role as Sully. Patterson himself publicly defended the show and its characters, stating that the creative differences were becoming untenable and that fans deserved better.
