Business briefs: OE staff selected for state leadership academy

Two members of the Opportunity Enterprises leadership team have been selected for the INARF Leadership Academy – Class of 2026. Melinda Mote, Quality Assurance Director, and Cassandra Dunn, Safety & Facilities Director, are among 30 professionals across Indiana chosen to participate in the program. The program officially kicked off in Noblesville on March 12. The City of Valparaiso is offering an eight-week City Government Academy for residents to learn about municipal government. The Food Bank of Northwest Indiana has appointed Natalie Krivas as its new Vice President of Development & Communications, leading its fundraising, marketing and communications strategies. The second cohort of the Northwest Indiana Influential Women Association’s mentorship program has begun. The Porter County Council has announced that the following boards have positions that need to be filled in April.
