HistoryMiami Museum is set to host a special exhibit featuring key founding documents, "Documents That Forged a Nation," ahead of America's 250th birthday celebration. The exhibit includes an original engraving of the Declaration of Independence and a rare 1787 draft copy of the Constitution. The documents are set to arrive in Miami in style on a Boeing 737 as part of the Freedom Plane National Tour. From June 20th through July 5, South Floridians will be able to see these documents up close for free. Natalia Crujeiras, the museum’s CEO, said the museum is among only eight cities in the nationwide exhibition. The exhibition and party on the Fourth of July are free to attend.
