Austin’s Allen Control Systems Builds AI-Powered Drone Killer
Published on March 21, 2026.
Austin-based Allen Control Systems (ACS) has developed a high-tech anti-drone system, Bullfrog, which uses artificial intelligence, robotics, and computer vision to detect and destroy drones. Bullfrog is part of a “layered defense” approach that integrates several systems to counter drones more effectively. The system uses infrared and electro-optical cameras, a laser rangefinder, and a predictive analysis to map a projectile’s path with extreme precision and neutralize drones in motion. It is designed for mobility and accuracy, maintaining a locked aim even while on the move. Michael Wior, CEO of ACS, said Bullfrog could be used on land or at sea and could even be airborne.
