The Miami Dolphins have traded wide receiver Jaylen Waddle to the Denver Broncos for two first-round picks. The Broncos have also sent first, third- and fourth-round draft picks to the Dolphins in exchange for Waddle and a fourth-rounder pick in April. Waddle is expected to complete the deal after a physical examination at the Broncos' complex. His addition to the Broncos could boost the team's performance and the fortunes of quarterback Bo Nix, who was ranked 15th in QBR this past season and led the NFL in pass attempts at 612. The deal is expected finalizing, with Waddle expected to fit into the Broncos offense as well as Nix's tendencies. The addition of Waddle could distract away from Courtland Sutton, who finished the season with 74 receptions for 1,017 yards and seven touchdowns. The move is seen as a significant change from last season after Denver spent the first week of free agency re-signing its own players.
