Joseph Duggar, a former child molester accused of sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl during a family vacation in 2020, has been extradited from Arkansas to Florida and charged with lewd and lascivious behavior molesting a victim under 12 and lewd behavior conducted by a person over 18. The presiding judge set Joseph's bond at $600,000 and barred him from having any contact with the victim, now 14, and from unsupervised contact with minors. His next court appearance is set for April 20. His wife, Kendra Duggar was arrested on March 20 and is also facing charges related to endangering the welfare of a minor and false imprisonment. His parents, Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle, have publicly commented on his legal woes, expressing their "heartbroken" feelings about the situation.
