Former New York City Mayor Eric Adams has hired longtime Donald Trump-affiliated lawyer Alan Futerfas to handle his sexual assault lawsuit against him. The city had asked for the dismissal of Adams as a client in the case of Lorna Beach-Mathura, who alleges that he asked for sexual favors in exchange for career help when he was a leader of the transit division. Futfas has previously represented Donald Trump Jr. and the Trump Organization in politically charged cases related to Russia-related investigations and Russia's ongoing civil case against the Trump family.
