Authorities seek family of Kansas man killed in Platte County collision

The Platte County Sheriff's Office is seeking information that may help locate the family of an 84-year-old Kansas man who died in a head-on collision. The crash occurred west of Duncan on Highway 30 and involved a Kia Soul driven by Lawerence Murphy, who crossed the center line and collided with an eastbound Ford Ranger. The driver of the Ford was transported to the University of Nebraska Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The sheriff's office has not located any family members.
