Michael Pittman's trade to the Steelers was not a complete surprise, as he and his wife, Bianna Pittman, both expressed their surprise at the timing of the deal. The Colts and Steelers traded late-round picks and Pittman was signed to Pittsburgh for a three-year, $59 million contract. Pittman had been left out of the team following Alec Pierce's re-signing and the Colts' decision to place the transition tag on quarterback Daniel Jones. Despite his successful six-year career with the Colts, Pittman never made a Pro Bowl.
