Police seek Mass. vehicle after driver involved in fatal Providence hit-and-run

Police are seeking the identity of the driver of a Massachusetts-registered vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run in Providence, which occurred early Saturday morning. The victim, identified as 46-year-old Kevin Chappie, was pronounced dead at a local hospital. The driver of the vehicle has not yet been located. Police are urging anyone with information to contact the Providence Police Department's Traffic Bureau at 401-293-611 or 970-1111.
