The Spa Valley Railway in Kent has reopened following the installation of a new bridge, which cost £500,000. The new bridge was installed after the Broom Lane bridge had become corroded. The upgrade ensures trains can continue to safely travel between Tunbridge Wells and Eridge. The general manager, Jonnie Pay, expressed excitement about the resumption of operations after a period of limited service. The remaining funding for the project is still being raised.
