The Timberwolves lost 109-87 to the Pistons, the top team in the Eastern Conference. The team's injuries, including Jaden McDaniels and Ayo Dosunmu, may be behind the line-up. Detroit's Tobias Harris stepped in to take the win, scoring 11 points for the team. The Wolves' remaining players struggled, with Julius Randle scoring 11 and Naz Reid scoring eight.
