New York State Police arrested 35-year-old Tulsiram Singh for Aggravated DWI following a vehicle fire on the New York State Thruway (I-87) near mile marker 14 southbound in Greenburgh. Upon arrival, troopers spotted Singh walking away from the burning vehicle. They immediately observed signs of alcohol impairment and performed field sobriety tests and a portable breath test. Singh was placed under arrest and transported to SP Tarrytown for processing. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while unintentionally, and is scheduled to appear in court on May 4.
