Mizizior Luke Weaver, a Mets reliever, is not holding a grudge towards the Yankees, despite a recent controversy over his lacklustre performance during a late-season stretch with the team. The two were teammates in the Cape Cod League as college players and Weaver received criticism from Aaron Judge for not acknowledging him with a head nod during a game against him for the Yankees in 2023. He entered Friday with a 4.15 ERA in 17 appearances for the Mets this season and is looking forward to a rematch with the Yankees.
