Alcaraz awaiting test results with French Open defence at risk

Spain's tennis player, Carlos Alcaraz, is awaiting tests on his injured wrist before deciding on defending his French Open title next month. The injury occurred during the Barcelona Open earlier this year. Alcaraza, who was named Sportsman of the Year at the Laureus Awards, had to surrender his world number one ranking to Jannik Sinner after losing in the Monte Carlo Masters final. The French Open will begin on May 24 in Paris.
