Published on March 20, 2026.
Friday, March 20, marks the first day of spring in Las Vegas, with temperatures expected to reach around 97 degrees, breaking the daily record high set in 2004. This would also break the all-time March record high temperature set at 95 degrees. Despite this, air quality remains good for trees and grass, with most common pollens being mulberry, sycamore, juniper, cedar, nettle, and wormwood. The heatwave continues, with Heat Warnings in place in Clark County and parts of southern California and western Arizona.
