A 6-year-old girl was nearly drowned at a California beach when a rip tide swept her out to sea. Local surfer Lucas Tuab, who was coaching a competition nearby, came to the rescue, jumping into the ocean while fully clothed and swam out to the struggling parents Chris and Coco. He saved them both by dragging them to safety on the rocks of the jetty. The incident occurred at Oceanside Harbor and has been hailed as a symbol of how humans should look out for each other.
