Reality TV influencer Oliver Sims IV is stranded in Qatar after his plane home to Texas was redirected back to the Doha airport due to closed airspace due to military action in the Middle East. According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the United States and Israel carried out a "broad strike in full synchronization and coordination" following months of planning. Iran retaliated against numerous U.S. military facilities in the region, including locations in Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Iraq and Jordan. Sims has posted several videos explaining his situation. He confirmed that the airport was not attacked while he was there.
