The first round of the 2026 NFL Draft will take place on Thursday, with the Las Vegas Raiders expected to select Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza as the No. 1 overall pick. At No. 2, the New York Jets have been linked to several potential defenders, including Ohio State's Arvell Reese and Texas Tech's David Bailey. There have been changes in the draft order since the New Year's Eve.
