Apple smart home display rumors now point to a fall launch with iOS 27

Apple's rumored "HomePod with a screen" is set to launch in the fall, replacing its predecessor, the J490 smart home display / HomePad, which is expected to be released later in the year. The announcement comes after several leaks suggested that the HomePod could launch in 2025, followed by a potential launch in 2027. Other developments include new versions of the Apple TV 4K box and a smart home sensor.
