The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDP) is investigating a multistate E. coli outbreak linked to raw cheddar cheese produced by Raw Farm, LLC. Seven cases across three states have been reported, with two hospitalizations and no deaths reported. The outbreak has been identified as the likely source of contamination, with all three patients reporting consuming the product the week before becoming ill. The CDC's PulseNet system helped identify the outbreak. The most recent case was reported on February 13, 2026.
