Rachel Shukert Strikes Overall Deal With UCP

Rachel Shukert, who created Netflix's The Baby‑Sitters Club and is set to continue working with Universal Studio Group (UCP), the studio behind the Keke Palmer and Jack Whitehall-led comedy drama series The Burbs. She will write and exec produce an adaptation of Amy Tintera's Listen for the Lie and is developing a series based on Judy Blume's Summer Sisters. Both projects are currently in the works at Peacock. ShukERT previously landed two Children’s & Family Emmy Awards for her work on The Baby-Sitter Club and has also written and exec produced Hulu's Nine Perfect Strangers and The Handmaid's Tale.
