Around 25 animal welfare activists were arrested after attempting to enter a beagle breeding facility in Wisconsin, where they were met with pepper spray and rubber bullets. This is the second attempt in as many months by demonstrators to remove beagles from Ridglan Farms. The incident occurred outside of the facility, where an estimated 2,000 beagles are kept. The leader of the Coalition to Save the Ridgan Dogs, Wayne Hsiung, was arrested on a tentative felony charge of conspiracy to commit burglary. However, most of the arrestees were released without charge.
