Michael Moreno, a 39-year-old man from Joliet, has been charged with unlawful violation of an order of protection for the fourth time. This comes after he was released from Will County Jail after five months in custody. Moreno already has a 2025 conviction in Will County for violating the order. As a result, he is prohibited from entering or remaining at 504 Bethel Drive until April 20, 2027. A petition was filed to deny pretrial release for Moreno, and Will County Judge Chrystel Gavlin agreed to keep Moreno in custody under the SAFE-T-Act's dangerousness standard.
