High winds are expected to hit Northern Ireland on Saturday and Sunday, potentially causing significant damage, power cuts and travel disruption. A yellow weather warning for wind is in place until 02:00 on Sunday. The Met Office has also warned of dangerous conditions along the coast, where large waves and debris could pose a threat. The deepening area of low pressure is expected to move north across the island of Ireland and will continue through the night before easing later in the day.
