Chaska High School boys' basketball team defeated top-seeded Tartan 60-51 in a Class 4A state semifinal at Williams Arena, their first time since 2004 to reach the state championship game since 2004. The fifth seed Chaska, a freshman forward Jed Keenan and junior Kalin Jochum, led the team with 17 points and hit five big 3-pointers. The Hawks overcame an early deficit to advance to the state title game. Tartan, who were trying to win their first state title since 2000, will play for third place at 4 p.m.
