Man Accused Of Dealing Drugs Before Reporting To Prison In Another Federal Case: Feds

A 54-year-old Stamford man, known as "Smooth," is accused of selling drugs before reporting to prison after he was sentenced in another federal case. The United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut for the possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, which carries a maximum term of 20 years, was sentenced to 46 months in prison and three years of supervised release for his involvement in a narcotics trafficking conspiracy. On Oct. 11, the Stamford Police Department's Narcotics and Organized Crime Squad conducted a search warrant and found $728 in cash hidden in a tree.
