I wore a bunch of AI devices at once. It was probably overkill.

The author tested four AI devices, including the Oura Ring, Oura, Omi, and Meta Ray-Bans, which could easily be mistaken for each other due to their smaller chips and sensors. The ring was the most discreet of the devices, having no buttons and an app that provided insights into my sleep and offered advice on improving my sleep. The Ray-Ban Gen 2s have a battery life of about eight hours, but can quickly charge while sitting in a glasses case like Apple AirPods. Amazon's Bee bracelet can be activated with a single button to activate its listening mode, which transcribes and summarizes meetings and conversations throughout the day. However, the Omi pendant, which also listens to conversations and offers transcriptions and summaries in-app, was more noticeable due to its constant listening. The author found that asking questions into these devices did not save more time than pulling up ChatGPT or Claude on my phone.
