At least 13 American service members have died in the U.S.-Israel war with Iran, some online accounts are using this occasion to share artificial intelligence-generated clickbait videos. The viral video showed a toddler-aged boy crying "Daddy" as he approached a flag-draped coffin, with a woman trying to console him. The video had 1.1 million views as of March 16. Online detection tools and AI experts identified the video as likely AI-generated. Several accounts sharing the video either post other AI-produced content or acknowledge their content is not real. The U.K. military has returned the remains of seven of the 13 service members who died, but none are toddlers.
