William Eubanks, a renowned decorator and international designer, has created sumptuous interiors for clients internationally but remains rooted in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born and raised in Memphis and has lived in a Jacobean manor house until 2004, but recently moved to Palm Beach and downsized to Edgewood House, a 4,000-square-foot Tudor he co-owns with his longtime friend John Ferguson. The 1920s cottage, which he has owned for 30 years, features grand European portraits, Sultanabad and Oushak carpets in saturated colors, and overstuffed linen velvet sofas skirted with bullion fringe. Despite his high-calorie decorating, Eubank has filled it with favorite pieces, including European portraits and ornate carpets. He also incorporates 16th-century English linenfold paneling with Gothic tracery into his home.
