The Cincinnati Bengals have reportedly agreed to a two-year, $28 million deal with former Pro Bowl DT Jonathan Allen. The move comes after a slow start in free agency and follows the signing of free agent edge rusher Boye Mafe. Allen, who has been a durable player throughout his NFL career, will join a Cincinnati defensive line boosted by the addition of defensive tackles BJ Hill, Kris Jenkins, TJ Slaton Jr. and McKinnley Jackson. The Bengals were reportedly aggressive in pursuing Allen after he was released by the Minnesota Vikings. Allen was drafted by Washington in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft and spent the first eight seasons of his career with the Vikings.
